I have an electric vehicle, what is the process for having a charger installed?

Each installation varies slightly for different reasons however a standard installation follows the below steps:

Cabling will be run through the wall from the EV charger & consumer unit (fusebox). Cables will be covered with plastic conduit or trunking.
Installation of EV charger onto wall
Electrical connections at the origin of supply & EV charger
Installation of Type A RCD/RCBO in consumer unit (fuseboard) or external unit
Electrical testing & NICEIC certification
Demonstration to you of charging functions

I would recommend Utility Pro's simply for their responsiveness, can do approach and excellent customer service. I was in the need for a gas certified engineer in the Chipping Norton area to fix the gas fireplace at my employer's property. Calling several businesses on the gas-certified business register, most of them don't even deal with gas fireplaces, even though it states on their websites.
I simply found Utility Pro's by searching on Google and calling around and I think I struck luck. I called around 4.30pm on a Friday and got a prompt answer by Lorraine who assured me that they could do the job. She asked me if it would be ok if she could call me back as she would like to speak to one of their engineers. 25mins later I received her call and she offered the following Tuesday in the afternoon to assess the issue and when possible to fix it there and then.
Lance, the engineer portrait great confidence and knowledge and fixed the problem within minutes.
Whilst the installer and the manufacturer of the gas fireplace had no one available until the new year and the company looking at the gas appliances at the property refused to fix the gas fireplace, Utility Pro's took on this job with a can do mentality and customer care. I think I know who'm I will contact for any gas or electric related tasks in the future.
