Taking a reading on your smart meter
Most smart meters automatically send readings to your gas & electricity suppliers however, there can be instances where you may need to do this manually, such as:
- A change in supplier – your new supplier may need a manual first reading after switching.
- Checking meter readings – you may want to double check your readings.
- Issues with smart meter – if your smart meter is not sending readings, you may need to manually do this.
