How to bleed a radiator

When air gets trapped inside your radiator, it can stop the heat from circulating properly. To release the air, you would complete a process called ‘bleeding’ your radiator.

Please follow the below steps:

Switch off the heating
Locate radiator key, insert into valve at the top of the radiator & turn
The trapped air will begin to escape & make a hissing sound
Once hissing stops, use your radiator key to tighten the valve
Switch heating back on
Check radiator to see if it has made a difference

I would recommend Utility Pro's simply for their responsiveness, can do approach and excellent customer service. I was in the need for a gas certified engineer in the Chipping Norton area to fix the gas fireplace at my employer's property. Calling several businesses on the gas-certified business register, most of them don't even deal with gas fireplaces, even though it states on their websites.

Lance, the engineer portrait great confidence and knowledge and fixed the problem within minutes.
Whilst the installer and the manufacturer of the gas fireplace had no one available until the new year and the company looking at the gas appliances at the property refused to fix the gas fireplace, Utility Pro's took on this job with a can do mentality and customer care. I think I know who'm I will contact for any gas or electric related tasks in the future.
